Took a hard hit to the jaw during a scrimmage and barely felt it through this guard. It stays put when I’m barking out signals, so I forgot I had it in until the final whistle.
Played a full tournament with this in and honestly forgot it was there until the ref checked. The fit is slim enough that calling signals never sounded muffled, which was my biggest worry. Kept it in the whole championship game without needing to spit it out once.
